CLB Hà Nội has confirmed the successful recruitment of Damien Le Tallec. The 1990-born defender grew up in the youth training system of Rennes FC (France). In 2009, he moved to Dortmund and won the Bundesliga championship in the 2010/2011 season.

It is known that Damien Le Tallec is the 6th foreign player to join Hanoi FC after Brandon Wilson, Herlison Caion, Mirlan Murzaev, Marcao, and Jevtovic. Additionally, the runners-up of V-League 2023 have also added many talented domestic players such as Đào Văn Nam, Xuân Mạnh, and Văn Hoàng.
